MO GOP Officer Elections Prove the Establishment is Alive & Well

It was a sad day if you were hoping for a chair that would make our party & our values matter again.

The MRSC made great strides in the 2024 reorganization. Out of 39 new seats, 30 are grassroots. That's amazing in one election cycle. Add to that a small handful of returning members who were fed up with party leadership's efforts to make the platform irrelevant, starting with refusing to make the platform and the amendments passed by a grassroots majority at the state convention the new 2025 platform. They elected instead to stick with a four year old document. The newly seated MRSC could have elected a chair who pledged to use the new platform, reinvigorate fundraising, work diligently on Initiative Petitions, and creating a current platform.

Instead, they elected Peter Kinder, a man who has been out of politics for nearly a decade and was the handpicked favorite of Mike Kehoe. Add to that an attorney who is so uninformed she stated that Amendment 3 had nothing to do with transgendering children and thought Carl Rove, the star of the Establishment, had a great plan for the future of the party!

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage." - Alexander Fraser Tytler (15 October 1747 – 5 January 1813)

(Our thanks to Jerry Wadel for bringing this quote to our attention.)

Where would Americans say we are in the process described above? It is undeniable we are close to the tipping point, and the behavior of the Socialist Left would suggest they see themselves in the role of Dictator. Will America let this happen, or will America rise up again in 2024, as we did in 2016 and 2020, and re-elect the man who would not be king but would be the Defender of Liberty: President Donald J. Trump.

When the Left calls us

"Insurrectionists, Racists, Terrorists & Enemies of the State"

- Remember -

Our Founding Fathers had a word for our values too,

PATRIOTS
