This is the "current" platform in that the 2024-2026 platform was sabotaged at the 2024 State Convention which prevented the final step of modification from being completed. Therefore, the 2016 platform is still in effect!
General Information
Amendments Passed By a Majority of the 2024 State Convention
The amendments below were passed by a majority of the delegates at the 2024 State Convention. Because the start of business was delayed for over five hours, the convention was unable to finish the process of joining the passed amendments to the platform. The MO GOP has been asked repeatedly to perform this function but they refuse. This has disenfranchised Missouri Republicans who elected the convention representatives to pass the amendments and create a current platform.

REPACCMO Respects The Rights of Missouri Republicans
Therefore, we are posting the passed amendments on this page, and our vetting going forward will also include these amendments. We believe it is unconscionable for party leadership to ignore the will of Missouri Republicans who spent their time and money attending the convention, only to have the party ignore their wishes.

The amendments below are attached to the original amendment number. Only those that passed are included, which is why the numbering may be out of sequence.
Amendment #1
“WE BELIEVE what James Madison said in Federalist No. 45 is absolute. The powers delegated by the proposed constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the state government are numerous and indefinite.
-Article 1 Section 4 of the Missouri Constitution states that Missouri is a free and independent state subject only to the Constitution of the United States
-Article 1 Section 2 states that it is the responsibility of the state government to protect the very liberty of its citizens, and that if it fails to do this, it fails in its chief design.
Therefore, it is not only the right of the state to say no to the encroachment of the federal government, but the duty of the state government.”
“WE BELIEVE that the state not only has a right to use the anti-commandeering doctrine, but in accordance with Article 1 Section 2 of the Missouri Constitution, it is obligated to use anti-commandeering to withhold state resources and support, whenever the federal government usurps the rights and sovereignty of the state.”

Amendment #3
WE BELIEVE United States law and/or laws of the individual states shall not be subservient to the laws, religious regulations, and/or cultural mores of any other country, or any international governmental or non-governmental organization.”
